“The G-fish”
Description:
A twin pin design invented by Steve Lis back in the 60’s, and still one of the most versatile of shapes seen today. Most shapers have a take on the fish.
My version has been designed to really make the most out of the waves we get here in the UK. Subtle Vee entry to flat, with a generous 6mm single concave running from knuckle out the tail, paired with a relatively flat entry rocker with some lift through the tail, combine to make this board possibly one of the fastest you’ll find anywhere on the planet.
A Local legend and one of the most talented surfers I personally know pictured here riding the G-fish in some epic north Devon conditions said this about the G-fish….
“I have ridden countless fish shaped for me by some of the best and most renowned shapers in the world, and the G-fish is without a doubt up amongst the best of them….”
As well as its ability to generate warp speeds in even the weakest of surf, it maintains great hold on a rail, and is a design capable of handling anything from double overhead reeling points down to knee high onshore beach breaks. An absolute must for any quiver......
