This tasty little morsel is a delicious blend of fish and mini simmons. When designing the Po’boy I drew design elements from both my Blimp model and my G-fish model, to make something that bridged the gap between the two.

The full outline, low rocker and single to double concave of the Blimp are blended with the modern performance down rail, split swallow tail and deck foil of the fish. This equals a whole lot of fun for both Shortboarders wanting a step up for weaker or smaller days, and for long boarders wanting something for bigger days or just to experience a totally different feel on small to medium days.

This design gives you the best of both worlds...matching the skatey but stable feel of the Blimp with the control and performance of a twin keel fish for tighter manoeuvres within the more critical sections of a wave. But just like the Blimp it boasts speed and flow for miles, and can make the most of 2 ft slop with its wide tail, to 6 ft perfection.

Just like my Blimp, the Po’boy has an adapted plan shape and features allowing it to be ridden longer in length if required. This shape is great for riders who crave the buzz of a shorter skatey twin fin, but want something with a more forgiving platform for popping up, and greater versatility for a wider variety of waves.
