Every custom board is a bespoke creation hand made for you.
One of my Models customised to suit you in terms of size, colour and finish.
This is by far the most popular type of custom that I produce as you get a reliable time-tested shape made to suit you.
If you are new to surfing or a seasoned pro, and love the sound of one of my Models then we will discuss your surfing, what you hope to get from your new board, your ability, your height, weight and fitness to decide on the best shape and dimensions to suit you. You can then decide on the colour and finish.
Boards can be resin tinted to almost any colour or mix of colours with traditional touches like resin pin-lines or fabric inlays as added extras. Go wild or keep it understated, the choice is yours!

Customised Model
One of my Models customised to suit you in terms of size, colour and finish as before, but with alterations to the design.
This could be anything from increased rocker, alterations to the rails, or the plan shape, or fin set up. You might require an alteration to a design for any number of reasons but most commonly this is because of the waves you like to ride i.e steep vs mellow, how you intend to use the board i.e travel or your surfing style i.e laid back vs aggressive.
Not all alterations will be suitable, and we would discuss any alterations , their pro’s and con’s and how they may affect performance in detail before agreeing to changes to the design.
Customised model variation
A completely bespoke board designed just for you.
This is for someone who knows exactly what they want or who wants a board specifically made by me but can’t find the shape or design they are looking for amongst my models.
The consultation process for a fully bespoke custom is a lot more in depth as the board would be designed for you from scratch. It’s a good idea to get in touch first with me to see if this is something I’d be happy to shape. My passion and knowledge as a shaper lies in the boards I personally love to ride, so if it’s a big wave gun or a shortboard for double overhead barreling reefs then I'm probably not the shaper for you! (but I'll point you in the right direction..)

How to order a custom board :
Ordering a custom board is a personal process that will require a discussion between us via email or phone to ensure you are getting the right board for you.
How in-depth this will be depends on your level of customisation and how much guidance you need or want from me regarding the shape, and the final colour design. I am always happy to help with all aspects of ordering a board, from deciding on the shape, dimensions and colours! Regarding the colour and finish you can be as specific as you want or leave the creativity to me.
If you haven’t ordered a custom before it can sometimes feel like a daunting process, but I'm always here to answer questions and guide you through the process. I want all my customers to feel valued (because you are!) and happy from start to finish with the experience of ordering a Miller surfboard.
You can use this Custom order form as a starting block to ordering your new custom - You can get a simple quote, or use the form to tell me more about what you’d like and I'll get back to you to discuss the information you have given me, provide you with prices and lead times, and answer any questions you may have about boards or ordering. I'll always aim to get back to you within 2 working days.
Useful info :
Custom orders are produced in batches. I will give you clear lead times before placing a deposit.
Orders and lead times will be secured with a 25% deposit via BACS, with the rest payable upon completion. You will be sent an invoice after we have discussed your new board via email or phone and you have agreed you’d like to go ahead with ordering a board.
If you know you want a board but have yet to decide, you may place a deposit to secure a slot. This is especially useful if you have a specific date you want the board by, or want to take your time deciding on colours etc.
Demo’s boards of some models are available, so please contact me to arrange a demo session.
Price guide:
Longboards (9’0 +) from £1150 with clear lamination and matte satin finish.
Mid-lengths (7’0 +) from £895 with clear lamination and matte satin finish.
Shorter boards (5’6 +) from £795 with clear lamination and matte satin finish.
Add-ons :
Resin tint with cut laps and cut tail + deck patches as standard = £50 per side on all boards. (£5 extra per colour for abstract designs)
High gloss polished finish: Up to 10’0 = £110, up to 9’0 = £100, up to 8’0 = £90, up to 7’0 = £80, up to 6’0 = £70
Fully bespoke custom design from £100 extra.
Fins are not included but can be purchased for a discounted rate.
